Patrick Sherman
President

Patrick Sherman began his career as an entrepreneur and business owner at the age of 19. He opened his first business in Sacramento and quickly developed other locations in southern California, Arizona, and Colorado. In 2000, he established a lighting firm- Polar Lights in Sacramento.  Patrick sold all locations for a more peaceful life in British Columbia, Canada and lived there for 3 years skiing and fishing while operating his restaurant on the river. Patrick moved back into the U.S. in 2006 and started Sherman, Sauvain & Spinella a nationwide recruiting and marketing firm as well as VR Business Brokers Sacramento. The recruiting office  grew from one location in Colorado to locations in Oregon, Oklahoma, Missouri, Minnesota and California. Patrick has helped hundreds of people over his distinguished career as a business owner. He has extensive knowledge as a business broker and a franchise owner; he has built his entire career around taking care of clients and cultivating great relationships.

Patrick is now residing in Sacramento, California, where he continues to handle the daily operations of the firm while fly fishing at every opportunity.  

Gary Zimmerman - brings over 35 years of successful business experience to the Blue Stone Business Group. Gary has professionally managed various departments during his 25+ year career with AAMCO Transmissions, Inc. including many years in franchise administration and development. In addition, Gary has owned and/or was a partner in various small businesses and has successfully sold them to other investors.

Jerry Ferrier – brings over 40 years of experience with AAMCO Transmissions, Inc. to Blue Stone. Jerry successfully managed the franchise finance departments and was instrumental in evaluating and approving hundreds of franchisees as they became new business owners. In addition, Jerry provided franchisees with sound advice and guidance including helping them buy and/or sell their operations.

Chris McCabe
Program Developer and IT Technician

Chris has a distinguished track record in IT and computer science. He keeps a litany of complex computer software running properly for our organization. Keeping our systems running smoothly is his primary concern.
